Once again, Drilling Innovation specialists completed their work on cutting out a technical window promptly and according to the Customer’s instructions, strictly within a tight deadline.

The KLEN-HA 7’’ equipment (with a hydraulic anchor) for cutting a process window was prepared according to the Customer’s instructions and delivered to the drilling rig.

The timely delivery of equipment and the mobilization of an engineer to cut a window and orient the whipstock using a gyroscopic inclinometer allowed the drilling crew to continue work without any downtime or disruption to the well construction schedule.

The KLEN-HA-7’’ whipstock was set up at a depth of 3270m.

Orientation was carried out using a small-sized GyroTracer Directional gyro-inclinometer using true azimuth.

Cutting a window in a 7'' casing and drilling a 6-meter long technical pocket took 14 hours.

Free passage of the following drilling BHAs into the window is ensured.
