Another job using a KLEN HA-6-5/8’’ hydraulic whipstock was carried out in a 168mm casing at the customer’s field.

The whipstock was set at a depth of 1,540 m, with an artificial face at 1,589 m. Since the KLEN HA system includes a universal hydraulic anchor, no special cement plug was required. This system can be installed at any depth, with zenith angles ranging from 0 to 90 degrees.

The orientation of the Hydraulic whipstock was carried out by specialists of Drilling Innovation LLC using their own resources, a small-sized gyroscopic inclinometer – IGT-43.

All operations were carried out as planned. The time spent cutting a 3-meter technical "window" and drilling a 5-meter technical pocket was 8.5 hours.
